On Monday, 30 May 2011 the auditorium no. I in building Q of BME was named after professor Károly Simonyi on a ceremonial event. In connection with this, the Masat-1 Development Team was also visited. Among with many others, Charles Simonyi and Dr. Előd Both visited the development labs, where Masat-1 is being constructed and the satellite’s model under testing was also presented.
