We still enthusiastically track each pass of the satellite. On the 21st of March we have downloaded two images altogether with some results of a long-term measurement required for the set-up of the Attitude Determination and Control System (ADCS). Masat-1 is all OK.
The “darkest” day has passed. During this the longest eclipse, Masat-1 spent 33 minutes in the shade from an orbit of 102 minutes. From now on, the sunlit section of the orbit will lengthen steadily until the 5th of March. From that day until the 21st of April Masat-1 will enjoy a continuous illumination. But there is still a long way to go till then.
